As a result, the Board annulled the decision that refused to award the candidate the Baccalaur\u00e9at.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the Board held for the first time that the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, and in particular Article 26 on the integration of persons with disabilities, applies to the interpretation of the rules governing the European Schools in this matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our team successfully defended a disabled candidate before the Complaints Board of the European Schools, appealing the decision to deny the candidate the European Baccalaureat.
